The heavy use of mobile phones worldwide has led to recent interest and study in the effects of mobile phone radiation. Mobile phones along with other handheld devices emit electromagnetic radiation which has some researchers believing it may be harmful to human health and wellbeing. There have been many research studies in the recent years. The research studies included both animals and humans. The results on these tests have varied with most tests showing no relationship between mobile phone use and health problems. The other tests showed cancer as a possible result of using mobile phones over a period of time. At this time all tests are inconclusive and research will continue to find out if there is a relationship between human health problems and mobile phone use. Many different digital wireless devices will emit electromagnetic radiation and will continue to be studied as well.
